PROJECT INFO

Prepr is a Saas company that makes a content management system (CMS) with built-in personalization. Prepr was growing from start-up to scale-up when I joined The company. It needed a brand refreshment to make the brand more noticeable and modern. With my help by making the visuals look future-proof and professional, Prepr got an investment series A. I worked on: the marketing website, a wireframe of the complete website in Figma. As well as designing brand assets and social media posts for the company.

CHALLENGE

My role as an In-house designer on the team was to make a new design style and brand refresh with limited resources and not being able to go through a complete rebrand. I was challenged to bring some new fresh ideas and designs and make the brand, friendly but trustworthy with a noticeable color palette and brand assets.

THE PROCESS

The company wanted to keep the existing logo and make a brand style around it.

So I started out trying to use the logo, break it down into shapes, and find a visual style.

you can see the exploration on the right.

I ended up with an open circle, a square, a rectangle, and a closed circle.

At first, the company was thinking of breaking down its features into individual services. I decided to use the shapes to make recognizable icons .

ILLUSTRATIONS

The product’s differentiators were hard to explain. I did some character exploration for an explainer animation. The goal was to explain the unique selling points of the product. I wanted to use the same basic shapes and transform this into a character.
